A Rhode Island native, Dr. Farina was educated at Providence College where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to earn his Masters of Science degree from Georgetown University in Biophysics and completed his education at Brown University where he received his Doctorate in Medicine.
His medical training includes surgical residency training at Yale University, a Neurosurgical fellowship at the University of Connecticut and Internal medicine and Primary care residency at Brown University. His clinical expertise in urgent care and occupational medicine has spanned over two decades.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, he began the practice of North Providence Primary Care in 2001. To fulfill a need of his patients’ request for acute medical needs and extended hours, North Providence Urgent Care was developed in 2008, where he serves as medical director. In 2014, Dr. Farina opened his sister facility, another state of the art medical facility, the Center of New England Medical Center which houses the Center of New England Primary Care and the Center of New England Urgent Care offices where he serves as medical director.
To assure quality medical care be delivered at all his offices, the facilities were united through a qualified IT system and EMR system and the group, Allied Medical Group was formed.
Dr. Farina’s medical affiliations include the Rhode Island Medical Society, American Medical Association and American Board of Internal Medicine, American College of Physicians in Internal Medicine, and the RI Chapter of the College of Physicians. Dr. Farina remains committed to the highest standard of care delivered to his patients with dedication, respect and compassion while advocating for their needs.
Dr. Duque , a native of the Philippines graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science and completed his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. He went on to complete his residency training in Internal Medicine at New York
Medical College. He has interests in nephrology and hypertension and trained in a nephrology fellowship at the University of Vermont. He is a certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Duque has committed himself to volunteer work in with the following organizations including: Philippine National Red Cross, Cardinal Santos Medical Missionary, and Loyola Catholic Formation Center. His compassionate approach is evident in the medical care he provides to his patients.
Dr. Romano has over two decades of clinical experience in his practice of family medicine and emergency medicine. He is a graduate of University of Guadalajara and completed his residency in Family Practice at Sacred Heart Hospital, New York. He completed his clinical clerkship at Brown University/ Memorial Hospital.
He has demonstrated dedication and compassion while delivering quality care to his patients in both a primary care and urgent care focus. His care and concern to his patients is exemplary.
Brenda Delsignore has been an integral part of the practices,helping in the formulation of our offices from its inception in 2001, serving as the Practice Administrator. She has been the mainstay of our office providing the foundation on which the growth of our office has been based. In addition to practice management and administration, Brenda has also serves as our Compliance Officer assuring proper protection and safeguarding our patients’ healthcare information. Strongly civic minded, she has been the drive behind our charitable donations with the RI Food Bank and blood drives.
Brenda has cultivated the personal side of the office, always advocating for our patients. She has always made our patients feel comfortable and at home in our offices through her care and respect.
